High Noon recalls Vodka Seltzer beach pack (12 pack) due to inclusion of Celsius® Astro Vibe™ energy drink cans
High Noon is recalling two production lots of High Noon Beach Variety 12 packs, due to some of the packs including cans mislabeled as Celsius® Astro Vibe™ energy drink, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent July 30.
This mislabeled cans in some of these packs are filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol, but are mislabeled as Celsius® Astro Vibe™ energy drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition with a silver top. Consumption of the liquid in these cans will result in unintentional alcohol ingestion.
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, Chief, Public Health Division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The recalled products were shipped to distributors in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. Distributors shipped the recalled products to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. The products were shipped between July 21 to July 23.
The following products from two production lots with silver lids are affected by this recall:
- High Noon Beach variety packs, 12 – pack of 12 fluid ounce cans: UPC Code 085000040065, Lot Code L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00
- Celsius Astro Vibe energy drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, 12 fluid ounce cans: UPC Code 889392001341, Lot Code L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11
